Our mental health is super important, there is a lot of stigma in reaching out for support and asking for help. I’m trying to use this voyage to change perceptions of mental health, what it means to struggle and when to start talking. I hope that by sharing my story other people can see that it’s okay, I hope to spark an honest conversation.
Talking Saves Lives
But talking about our mental health isn’t something you just know how to do, for the most part, we are taught not to talk about our feelings and emotions, we learn to cope but we don’t talk about it. We CAN learn ways of coping, how to deal with crises and so so much more…. but it takes time and it’s hard. There is support out there, even if it doesn’t seem like it.
Let’s help each other, If we start the conversation then the door is open for someone that needs it. Everyone has mental health, Talk about yours!
But for now, listen to my story, and share it if you can:
